Packinghouse
|
We have a multi-annual contractual agreement with a
processing plant. Most of Frutirol's merchandise is sorted, packed, and
stored there. During the first two months of the season, the packing is
performed in three shifts, for 21 hours a day, enabling the Galas to be
marketed as fast as possible.

The inner quality characteristics of our apples are
analyzed daily in each work shift and orchard. This is done in our
own lab.

During the high season, about five cooling
containers are shipped daily.

Four-row Predeg calibrating machine with color sorting (thruput: approx. 15,000
kg/h).

Approx. 60 workers.

Approx. 10,000 metric tons of cooling capacity (60% air conditioned).

Because each individual pallet is coded, it is possible to completely track the
product from the orchards to the customer.
