Infrastructure

Frutirol's infrastructure consists of a single large production building with a spraying and fertilizer storage facility, a mechanical workshop, offices, sanitary facilities, a warehouse for tractors, one large warehouse (50 x 15 meters) for equipment, two warehouses for the tree nursery, one central collection facility for spraying medium; one building with 100 beds, a kitchen in which 70 workers can eat in 30-minute shifts, 14 living quarters (with sanitary facilities) in the fruit tree areas (25 ha each), ten single-family dwellings for the tractor drivers and other personnel, and (finally) the main office in the city of Vacaria.
 

The company also has an internal network of roads with a length of 35 km, with 16 loading/unloading zones (20 ha each) with sunlight protection. Five medium-sized natural lakes (1.5 ha each) and a large dammed lake (9 ha) serve as water reservoirs. A multi-annual contractual agreement has been signed with a processing plant for the processing and storage of the fruit. Most of Frutirol's merchandise is sorted, packed, and stored there.
